Stunning Fallen Leaf Lake beauty located at the very south end of Fallen Leaf Lake near the boat docks, boat and kayak rentals, and market that features a small cafe! This 3000 square foot home features 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a private master suite with a gas burning fireplace, and a large open Living/Conversation room with tons of seating, unfortunately there is no cable due to where this home is located but there are smart TV's and internet (internet is not guaranteed due to remote/satelite issues beyond our control), and a wood burning fireplace. The home is 3 levels with the mid-level being the living room, kitchen, dining room, full bathroom, 2 built-in single beds, and 2 queen bedrooms. (***The 2 queen bedrooms on the mid-level are very small without a closet. There are hooks to hang clothes but no closet or dresser. These 2 bedrooms are perfect for older children as they have direct access to the deck but may not be as comfortable for an adult couple***) There is a nice deck for relaxing while sitting among the pines and aspens on this level as well. Upstairs is the master suite and another queen bedroom, plus there is a loft area with 2 queen beds, they have drapes for privacy but are certainly not private. The bottom floor is the Family/TV room that has a large Flat screen TV with plenty of bean bags for relaxation. There is also a queen bedroom and another full bathroom. Just a few minutes walk to the prestigious Fallen Leaf Lake and you get to enjoy the comforts of the private Home Owner's Association beach, picnic area with fire pit, and swimming area with floating dock. Also just a few minutes walking distance away is the market where you can get simple goods (We recommend doing your major food shopping prior to heading to the home because its about 25 minutes from South Lake Tahoe) but some basic items are available. There is also a small cafe where you can get sandwiches and other goodies. There are boat and kayak rentals available as well just a few steps from the market area. This summer home is just amazing, your group of 14 people (12 adults only please, unlimited # of children under 5 years old are OK) because you will never want to leave this area. In addition to the beaches and lake there is an unlimited # of hiking trails with gorgeous waterfalls and swimming holes. Enjoy! MAXIMUM CARS ALLOWED=3 CARS IN THE PARKING LOT. There are 2 assigned parking spaces and one guest spot. The parking area is located about 50 yards from the house but you can load and unload at the house, just no overnight parking next to the home is allowed. ***Please note: Due to the location of this house, the only internet option is satellite, it is not the best service and can be intermittently down or just slow. We cannot guarantee the quality of the internet at this property.***
