Nearby Patton Beach you will find more entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. The beautiful Carnelian West Beach provides another excellent swimming spot just a five-minute drive from the home. In the winter months, you are only 10 minutes from Northstar, 25 minutes from Palisades Tahoe, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for, you are just a 14-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 3 minutes east from Kings Beach. From here you are just a 20-minute bus ride to Tahoe City where you can easily connect to other locations at the Tahoe City Transit Center to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Those with a vehicle enjoy being close to HWY 28 and the quick access it provides to the beautiful surrounding areas, with less than a 15-minute drive to Tahoe City and a 10-minute drive to the Nevada state line. Just a five-minute drive will take you to Patton Beach, and in the opposite direction, the popular Kings Beach is only a 3-minute drive away. In the wintertime, you are centrally located for skiing all of the best resorts with a 25-minute drive or less from three of the area's best ski resorts, Northstar, Squaw Valley ski resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center.
