Because of its unique location overlooking the bay, and second floor level with vaulted ceilings with a large lanai, the scenery is breathtaking. It is also located across the street from one of the pools in the community. The unit has two bedrooms with a king bed in one and two queens in the other. The living room has a fold out couch if needed. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The kitchen has been updated and is fully stocked. This is turn-key, everything you need from sheets, towels, beach umbrellas, chairs, etc. are all right there. There is a washer and dryer located in the unit. It is air conditioned, and the lanai is screened in. The Bird Bay Condo Association has an Olympic- sized pool and smaller community pools, which are all heated. There is tennis, an executive golf course, pickle ball, shuffleboard, basketball, bocce ball,a library, fitness room/exercise equipment, large community center, free parking on the premises. It is located one mile from downtown Venice and two miles from Venice Beach and is easily accessible by walking, biking or a short drive. While downtown there is a variety of shopping and dining choices all just over the bridge from the condo.While on the lanai you can watch bicyclists on the Legacy trail as they go over the bridge. This popular trail goes from the island of Venice to Sarasota.
