4 bedroom architect's chalet on 6 acres of privacy with a pond & a river running through it. There are spectacular views from every window. Make day trips to Dia Beacon and Storm king or hang out at the house. Designed by an award winning architecture firm based in NYC and featured in catalogs and social media. 1.5 - 2 hours from NYC door to door.
Please note that there is a tiny house on property as well (with its own designated area) that may or may not be occupied.
The space
Built in 1920 this architecturally significant space was a stone barn before being converted into a chalet. This is one of the few buildings in the area that is allowed to be 3 stories tall because of the year it was built. The chalet comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 3 children.

Outside: 6 acres with a pond and river, if you look really carefully you might see our family of otters that live on the property. We also have deer, foxes, herons, turtles, ground hogs & a multitude of birds all visiting as well.
Lions, Tigers, and Bears. Oh My! - Please enjoy the wildlife from inside or from a safe distance. Don’t bother / approach the wildlife.
1st Floor Kitchen: Large open kitchen with a large marble table that seats 8 and a breakfast nook that seats 6.
The custom designed show kitchen has a 6 burner wolf range with a griddle, grill & two full sized ovens. There is also a waffle maker, microwave, stand mixer, blender, dual steamer, rice cooker, pots and pans and all essential kitchen needs.
There are two bedrooms as well, both have queen sized beds and one has two cribs.
All beds in the chalet are memory foam beds.
2nd Floor: Children's bedroom with 3 full sized beds with individual lights. A fire place in the living room and a 57 inch TV, couch, and a playstation 4. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus & lots of board games available. There is also a table for 10 with chairs. and a large balcony facing the East with lots of sun.
3rd Floor: Master bedroom with in suite bathroom and large shower. Home office space on the deck over looking the living room with an 27” iMac and a 60” working table for guest use.

- Every stay longer than 7 days will receive a complementary weekly cleaning for fresh bedding towels etc.
