MaMa’s Cabin is a located on beautiful Lake Cherokee in Tamassee, SC. This cabin has been in our family for over 60 years. It is located in the northwest corner of SC just 30 min away from Clemson University and the 2016 and 2018 national football champion Clemson Tigers. The surrounding area is beautiful and has many hiking trails and waterfalls to enjoy.

Part of Lake Cherokees appeal is that it is a quiet, private 200 acre lake that is accessible only to homeowners and their guests. GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO OPERATE BOATS ON LAKE CHEROKEE AND NO PERSONAL WATERCRAFT ARE ALLOWED. We provide a kayak, Paddleboard and floats for your use. You can also enjoy fishing from the dock with no license required, relax by the fire pit at waters edge or enjoy a sunset from the dock.

This cozy cabin has an open living room and kitchen floor plan to allow your group space to relax, play games or cook a meal. There is a 55” Roku TV provided with wifi and YouTube TV. You can also login to various other apps with your personal login. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook a delicious meal including a coffeemaker, crockpot and hand mixer.

The primary bedroom upstairs features a queen bed with a beautiful view of Lake Cherokee. The 2nd bedroom upstairs has a full size bed. As you go down the steps, you will find a full bath with step in shower and a larger common area with another full size bed, hang out area, and washer and dryer (detergent provided).

Board games and various books are available for your enjoyment as well as a Weber grill with gas tank.

No smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere on the property and there will be a $250 fee applied if this is violated. If there is a smoker in your group, please do not rent our cabin! There are also no pets allowed and no house parties. This is a family vacation rental and we want to keep the area peaceful for our neighbors that we have known for over 40 years.

Note: There is a gravel drive with room for 3-4 vehicles max.
