One of the most spectacular long-range views of the North Georgia mountains awaits at this luxury cabin in Mineral Bluff. With its three stories of incredible deck space and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, this is a place to take in 270-degree vistas of rolling ridges, a peaceful valley, and sprays of gorgeous fall color.
This hillside home boasts one of the best views and settings in the region, just south of the Georgia-North Carolina line. It's an ideal spot for outdoor adventure, where you can hike portions of the Appalachian and Benton MacKaye Trails, go whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, shop for antiques in Blue Ridge (13 miles), or spend your days mountain biking and fly fishing. The shores of Lake Blue Ridge are only 13 miles south, and the casino in Murphy (17 miles) makes an excellent evening trip.
The outdoor spaces here are something special, beginning with the main-floor deck that wraps three sides of the cabin. It's a stunning spot to sit in a rocking chair with your morning coffee, light the gas grill for a lunchtime barbecue at the picnic table, and tell stories by the outdoor fireplace on crisp mountain evenings. Also outside, you'll find a fenced run for your dog and a private hot tub to soak in beneath starry skies.
The interior living space showcases the mountains as well, most notably the great room with its soaring ceiling, rear wall of glass, and beautiful details of natural wood. There are two gas fireplaces - one in the great room and one in the den downstairs - as well as an open kitchen, a light-filled dining area, and a bedroom and bathroom on each of the three floors.
