Located above a creek in an amenity filled gated community, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Swiss Chalet is the perfect getaway. Enjoy the hot tub and fireplace after a day of skiing, hiking or lounging. We have a lot of wildlife in this area and you won’t miss a thing with these big windows.

The space
This Swiss Chalet has two floors, a screened in porch, a room with a hot tub, a deck with outdoor dining & a grill, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, loft space and 2 dedicated workspaces. There are five stairs to enter the home and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor.

The front door is right through the screened in porch. We will provide you with a unique code for your arrival.
Through the front door, you enter into the open concept living room, dining area and kitchen. You’ll see stairs to the second floor on your right. Please kick off your shoes at the door (please bring some indoor shoes or slippers if you want to wear shoes inside).
First floor: king bedroom, queen bedroom, bathroom with a tub/shower, open kitchen, living room and dining space with massive windows. There’s an electric fireplace, two comfy sofas and a TV in the living room. The hot tub is through sliding doors off of the kitchen. You can access the deck from the living room and from the hot tub room.
Upstairs: up a set of stairs to your left you’ll land on the loft space, with gorgeous views of nature and the creek, we have a reading chair + ottoman on one side and a beautiful desk setup on the other. To your right, you’ll enter a queen bedroom with a private full bathroom (shower) and another desk setup. This room sings with the signature chalet ceilings and beautiful a frame windows.
There are closets, drawers and hooks in each bedroom to store all of your items.
Our fridge and washer are brand new and will be upgrading the other appliances as we go. Our bathrooms will be undergoing some renovations later this year.
We have electric heat and a fireplace to keep you nice and toasty. Each bedroom and bathroom has their own heat to keep you cozy. For those summer days, we have two AC units (one in the living room and one in the upstairs bedroom) and ceiling fans in the living room/kitchen area and each bedroom.
The dining table is a seats 6 comfortably. We keep four chairs at the table and have two more off to the side for you to add as you wish.
The kitchen is is stocked with pots, pans, bakeware, dinnerware and glassware. We have a standard coffee pot and have filters stocked up. Bring your favorite ground coffee! Our refrigerator is brand new and we are continuing to replace the other kitchen appliances. The kitchen sink area is a bit quirky with a window overlooking the hot tub.
The views from the house really make time slow down. The house backs up to Saw Creek and gives you views of water, trees, birds, deer and other woodland creatures. If you open the sliding glass door in the living room, you can hear the water from every room in the house. You can access a path about halfway down the hill in the backyard, it takes you a few houses in each direction. Our backyard is sloped with a lot of big rocks. Wearing shoes with traction will go very far if you want to go down to the path or the creek. To access the backyard, you just walk around the side of the house.
**For those with little ones** the backyard is steep and rocky but can only be accessed from outside the home. The hot tub is inside of the home, there is a sliding glass door (with a lock) from the living room/kitchen that opens into the room with the hot tub.
**We are dog friendly and you may bring one (potty-trained) pup under 35lbs. We charge a pet fee of $50 since it takes more time & products to clean. If you have a request for more than one dog or a larger dog to vacation with you, please message me for consideration before booking.** We do not allow cats or other pets.
Guest access
Saw Creek is a gated and amenity filled community. You will have access to community amenities. Indoor & outdoor pools, tennis courts, gym, playgrounds and beaches. Please note that these amenities are available but are subject to seasonal closing or changes in opening hours during your stay. You can do a day pass for skiing/snowboarding and rent equipment for a fee. There is a restaurant in the community open Friday - Sunday called Top of the World. You have access to the restaurant and pay for your tab just like a regular restaurant. You have access to 6 guest passes that you will need to take with you to use any of the amenities during your stay. There is a $25 charge if you lose or take a pass with you because we have to replace them.
The home has a long driveway with parking. We have a security camera in the driveway and there are a number of flood lights to help when it’s dark out.

Other things to note
We have a community drop off area for garbage. It is a short drive from the house you’ll pass it on your way here and we ask that you dispose of your garbage throughout your stay.
We are in nature and you will see wildlife. Please be sure to clean up any food outside and drop off any garbage at the community garbage area. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, in the screened in porch or the hot tub room.
You will need to sign a renter waiver for the community which includes all of the community's rules & regulations
Additional rules
Please respect our no smoking policy - no smoking inside and if you smoke outside, please close the patio door and use an ashtray/throw out before checkout.
Our neighborhood is super tranquil and out of respect to our neighbors ask that there are no parties or loud music.
Please do not leave food or garbage outside. The community has a garbage drop off just a short drive from our house, we ask that you dispose of garbage throughout your stay and before check out.
You will need to provide government ID and your license plate to security at the gate upon your arrival.
